I agree that $300 would decrease the amount of alignments even if its only half the price of a rear tire!  The price of around $200 seems more reasonable.  Ill do a bit more research and pitch the shop on the idea.

Just for the sake of comparison of the two methods, what is the cost of having an alignment done with the standard method in use today?

It is well worth having done.  I had it done last year on the way back from New Orleans, and had it done again this year on the way back from Spyderfest (because I hit a coyote last fall and it was out again).   It makes a huge difference when it's dialed in.  And it definitely required access to the BUDS system.  Mine was done by Squared Away.

I wasnt serious about the $300.  Someone laughed at one of my jokes a while ago and it only encouraged me to believe that I had a sense of humor.

Right now Im working with the service department to try and set up some specials along with the laser alignment.  Will keep the group posted.

I'm just wondering if anything ever came about for laser alignments? I don't need one, yet. Just checking.
